CLUB RESERVATION, ATTENDANCE, AND GUEST 

POLICIES AND UPDATES 

2021 SEASON 

 

CAPACITY 

  • In compliance with Ohio Director of Health requirements, the Board of Trustees, in consultation with the Club’s manager, Swim Safe, have adopted the following capacity limits for the Club: 
  • Pool area – 230 
  • Pool capacity will be reviewed throughout the season and may be adjusted based on Ohio Director of Health guidance, experiences and member feedback.   

POOL RESERVATION POLICIES 

Advance reservations are required for the 2021 season.  

  • No limit on the number of reservations per day. 
  • You may make reservations up to 5 days in advance . 
  • You may have up to 3 active upcoming reservations per membership account. 
  • Walk-ins will not be permitted. But, reservations may be made at any time.  This includes making a reservation for a session after it has already started.  However, you must have a reservation to enter the pool. 
  • If a session is full, the reservation system will offer you an opportunity to be placed on a wait list in case there are cancellations. 
  • Due to the capacity limit, the baby pool and surrounding decks will be first come first serve. 
  • You may only make reservations for your own family members.  You may not include other member children or adults in your reservation count. Each member family is allowed 3 active reservations at a time.   
  • Reservation policies will be reviewed throughout the season and may be adjusted based on experience and member feedback. 

 

GUEST POLICY 

  • In order to prioritize member use of the club and comply with capacity and social distancing requirements, daily guests are not permitted while the reservation system is in effect. 

 

POOL SESSION SCHEDULE 

  • We plan to operate 3, approximately 2.5-3 hours sessions every day.  With 15 min cleaning and transition periods. 
  • We expend these exact windows to vary throughout the season to accommodate adjustments to hours of operation, swim team, etc. 

 

LAP LANE POLICY 

  • We will continue to allow lap swimmers to sign up for designated blocks of time. 
  • Lanes can be reserved for 1 hour sessions.
  • Lap lane reservation list will be managed at front desk.
  • Reservations are first come basis.
  • Lap swimmers may select an option to share a lap lane.
  • If you are only swimming laps a reservation is not necessary.

DAY OF RESERVATION 

Pool Entry  

  •  Markings are provided to assist with proper spacing between groups waiting to check in.  Please do not arrive more than 5 minutes before your session starts.  Please do not crowd the area.  

 Pool Exit  

  • Please depart within 10 minutes after the end of the session. The pool area and decks will be cleared, cleaned and reset between sessions.   

Social Distancing  

  • Members are expected to observe social distancing recommendations issued by the Ohio Director of Health by maintaining at least six feet of distance from members outside their group. Parents must supervise their children to assure distancing.  Please respect other members that may desire more social distancing than your family utilizes.   

Drinking Fountain  

  • The drinking fountain has been turned off. Please bring drinking water for your group.   

Kids Out  

  • We will schedule 2 “kids out” periods during each session. This policy may be reviewed and adapted based on feedback and experience.  

Pool capacity  

  • Previously, there was an additional capacity limitation of 50 individuals in the physical pool at the same time.  THIS IS NO LONGER IN EFFECT,  (Capacity is only managed at the overall swim club at this time.)

Seating  

  • Chairs and tables have been placed to allow for appropriate distance between groups and should not be moved.  
  • Please do not claim any more chairs than necessary and do not allow children to claim chairs.  
  • Although Swim Safe will spray chairs between sessions with an EPA-approved disinfectant, members may wish to bring disinfecting wipes.  

Face coverings  

  • The use of a face covering is suggested when entering the restrooms. 
  • The use of a face covering is suggested when not in the water or sitting in your group area.

 

DECK RESERVATIONS 

  • The Baby Pool and Upper and Lower Decks will be first come first serve 
  • Please clean up and depart within 10 minutes after the end of the session. 

 

MEMBERSHIP EXPECTATIONS  

  • We ask for your patience and understanding as we wade into these new waters (pun intended!).   
  • Courtesy for our pool staff is expected at all times.   
  • We ask that you be gracious with your fellow club members, and find the Manager-On-Duty should you have any concerns.   
  • Members are expected to observe social distancing recommendations issued by the Ohio Director of Health by maintaining at least six feet of distance from members outside their group. Parents must supervise their children to assure distancing.  Please respect other members that may desire more social distancing than your family utilizes.  
  • Concerns with pool policy should be discussed with the Manager-On-Duty if urgent, and with the Board of Trustees if not urgent.  

 

COVID-19: REPORTING AND POOL ATTENDANCE POLICY   

  • The board has finalized our policy on COVID-19 reporting and pool attendance:    
  • Requirement to self-report  
  • We expect Members who have received a positive Covid-19 test result to report the result to the club, if they attended the club within the 10 days prior to their test date.  
  • Reports should be made by email to admin@clintonthills.com and manager@clintonhills.com. Reports should include the date of the test, the date of onset of symptoms (if available), and a list of the dates and times the member attended within the 10 days prior to their test.  
  • If, while attending the club in the 10 days prior to their test date, the member interacted with other members at the club whose identities are known, then the member must either: communicate directly with those individuals or identify those individuals in the report, so the club may notify them of their possible exposure in an anonymized manner.  
  • Attendance Policies:   
    • No member may attend the club if (unless the member is able to show proof of vaccination):  
      • They, or anyone in their household, has received a positive Covid-19 test result within the past 14 days; or,  
      • They, or anyone in their household, has a pending Covid-19 test due to potential exposure or symptoms; or,  
      • They, or anyone in their household, are presently experiencing Covid-19 symptoms; or,  
      • They, or anyone in their household, has displayed symptoms of Covid-19 within the past 14 days UNLESS it has been at least 3 days since any member of the household had a fever, AND at least 10 days since any member of the household first experienced symptoms.
