Interested in Water Aerobics at CHSC? Blake Williams, City of Cincinnati Recreation employee for 22 years, is currently Service Area Coordinator at North Avondale Center. Prior to moving into this position six years ago I created programs for CRC and taught fitness classes. I was first certified as a group fitness instructor in 1998. I’ve taught; Dance Aerobics, Step Aerobics, Zumba, Senior Stretch, Spinning, and Water Fitness just to name a few. I enjoy instructing a variety of class styles, I believe changing up your exercise routine from time to time is important. It keeps boredom away and challenges different muscle groups as it will give others a rest. That is why I would like to bring a class to Clinton Hills swim club for the summer.

Last summer we had a great time getting in shape with Water Aerobics by BlakeWe met Tuesday and Thursday’s from 6:15 to 7:15. For this year, we are trying to determine what times work best for everyone. Possibly we will have a Saturday 10am class rather than the Tuesday or possibly Thursday 6:15 pm classes.

12 class pass for $60 = $5 per class or $7 drop in. There will be a variety of music to please everyone; R&B, 70’s, Current Pop, Dance and more.

There will be three components to the class:

  • stretch/movement
  • cardio blast/core
  • resistance/muscle work
